For over 8 decades, Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church has stood as a beacon of hope and spiritual strength in our community. We are a vibrant, faith-filled congregation committed to worshiping God with passion, serving our neighbors with love, and nurturing families in the truth of the Gospel. Our doors are open, our hearts are wide, and our mission is clear—to be the hands and feet of Jesus in a world that desperately needs His touch.
We believe in one Kingdom—the Kingdom of God—where every soul has value, purpose, and a place at the table. We pursue one mission: to make disciples who love God deeply, serve others selflessly, and live out their faith boldly in every area of life.
At Pleasant Grove, we are more than a church—we are a family bound together by the love of Christ. We believe that strong families build strong communities, and strong communities reflect the heart of God. Whether you're rejoicing or struggling, seeking or growing, you belong here. We stand on the promise that when we walk together in faith, nothing is impossible. Come as you are, and watch God transform who you'll become.
A native of Biloxi, Mississippi, Alfredore A. Todd graduated from high school in 1983 and went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree in Paralegal Studies from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1987. In 1991, he married Allison, a New Orleans native and proud 1987 graduate of Southern University. Together, they are the parents of three children: Rajeehyah, Ashleigh, and Ashton.
Answering the call to ministry, Pastor Todd earned a Master of Arts in Biblical and Theological Studies from Arlington Baptist University in 2014. Since 2005, he has served as pastor of Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church in the southern section of Dallas, Texas, where he continues to lead the congregation with dedication and purpose.
His specific ministry calling is to teach all mankind how to cultivate a loving relationship with others, with self, and with God—a mission that remains at the heart of his pastoral work and community engagement.

Kingdom Partnership is a biblical, mission-focused relationship that allows individuals and families to align with the vision and ministry of our Baptist church without becoming formal church members. It is designed for those who desire to support and advance God’s Kingdom alongside us through prayer, service, and generosity.
“For we are labourers together with God.” — 1 Corinthians 3:9 (KJV)
Kingdom Partnership is a voluntary alignment with the mission, values, and ministry efforts of our church. We recognize that the Kingdom of God extends beyond any single local congregation, and this partnership provides an opportunity for believers to work together in unity while respecting biblical order and Baptist doctrine.
Kingdom Partnership is not church membership, but it is a meaningful way to participate in Kingdom work through this ministry.
“Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness.” — Matthew 6:33 (KJV)
Kingdom Partners are welcome to worship, serve in approved ministries, participate in outreach and events, support the church through prayer and giving, and build Christ-centered relationships.
Kingdom Partners do not vote in business meetings, hold offices requiring membership, or participate in congregational decision-making.
“Let all things be done decently and in order.” — 1 Corinthians 14:40 (KJV)
Kingdom Partners respect pastoral leadership, serve under ministry guidelines, may receive prayer and encouragement, and are not under formal pastoral accountability or church discipline.
“Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves.” — Hebrews 13:17 (KJV)
Kingdom Partners are encouraged to pray for the church and leadership, support Kingdom initiatives, serve with integrity, live according to biblical values, and promote unity.
“Let all that ye do be done with charity.” — 1 Corinthians 16:14 (KJV)
Though we may not all share the same church membership, we joyfully serve the same King and work together for His glory.
